The Council recently commissioned a study to consider the suitability of wind turbine developments in the District. The Council now wishes to seek your views on the contents of this draft document. You are invited to comment on the above document from 10 November 2008 to 8 December 2008.
The draft Wind Turbine Development in Fenland study includes guidance on what information will be required by applicants for related planning applications. The document indicates circumstances where turbine development is likely to be acceptable and where it is unlikely to be acceptable. It provides advice on criterion and thresholds to be used in assessing future proposals.
